The Standard WW1 US infantryman was dressed in a uniform made of olive drab cotton drill. The coat was single breasted with five removable bronze general service buttons in front. The issued service buttons fastened to the uniform were made of bronze metal with a rimmed edge and lines behind the āGreat Seal of the United Statesā.Ā
